Head Swimming and Diving Coach -Michael Gobrecht (mike@cvswimdive.com) – The 2025-2026 season will be the eleventh season that Coach Mike will be the Head Coach of the Cumberland Valley Swimming and Diving programs having been at Cumberland Valley since 2014. Coach Mike has been the Director of Competitive Swimming at the West Shore YMCA since 1990 and has worked with swimmers from Olympic Trials qualifiers, NCAA National Championship finalists, PIAA State Champions, District III Champions as well as swimmers as young as six years old learning how to accomplish a flip turn for the first time. Prior to arriving at CV, Mike was the Head Coach at Trinity High School for 12 years. Mike was inducted into the Pennsylvania Aquatics Hall of Fame in 2021 and he is the President of the the PA High School Swim Coaches Association and a member of the PIAA Board of Directors. Mike lives in Silver Spring Township with wife Kerry and son Joshua, a student at Drexel University, as well a crazy Yorkie named Leo and a Mini Poodle named Elliot
Assistant Swimming Coach – Kathy Watts – (kathyswatts18@gmail.com) Coach Kathy starts her nineth year with the Eagles after serving as the assistant swim coach for many years at Red Land under Coach Beth Hockenbery. Coach Kathy has previously been the Head Swimming Coach at Cedar Cliff High School as well as Mechanicsburg High School in the 90’s. Coach Kathy retired from teaching after 33 years in the West Shore School District. Coach Kathy is currently involved in her family Real Estate business. Coach Kathy has three grown children.
Assistant Swimming Coach – Bryce Raines – Coach Bryce starts her sixth year with the Eagles. Coach Bryce is a teacher in the West Shore School District
